U.S. $9.99 - Great hand made folk art
-ish kitchen collectable. Made from a plastic soap container it seems
(from the shape), painted black with a styrofoam head which is also
painted. Felt mouth, google eyes, plastic hoop earrings and great green
and white check material head scarf and dress/apron. The dress is adorned
with black rick rack. The bottom of the skirt has pockets all around which
I am told were to hold eggs! Could certainly be used to hold other kitchen
items as well. This sweet mammy will certainly be a conversation piece in
a folk art collection or African Americana or Canadiana collection.

Sample
only. "Each bear is unique and one of a kind, no two are
alike". Home made by myself, this great looking completely hand
sewn wool bear is made from a vintage Hudson Bay blanket and rag stuffed.
He is weighty and sits very nicely. He is signed and dated on his paw and
I will send a certificate of authenticity with him as each bear is an
original with no patterns used and each is made with all vintage materials
(even the thread and buttons). If you collect Hudsons bay blankets and
bears this is the bear for you. He measures about 15 inches. Christmas is
also fast approaching, this little primitive hand made bear would make a
great gift. I will be listing more as I make them (they take quite a
while, NO machine work at all), so check back often. I will also be

U.S. $13.99 - Very shabby chic or
country old blue on what I believe is chrome tissue box dispenser holder.
Great tole flowers. Measures 10 3/4 inches long by 5 1/2 wide by 2 1/4
high. Bit of paint loss, a bit of rust, sticker residue which will come
off, and a bit of chrome discoloration but I have nothing to clean or
polish this so will leave that to you. Makes it sound horrible but its
not, just wanted you to know all the details. You just have to love that
old blue color! A fabulous retro item. |

U.S. $ 16.99 - Sorry about the strange
description but I am unsure if this actually is a rug that has been washed
and now the corners are pulling together or if it was made this way to sit
on top of something. If it was I would guess this would fit perfectly on
top of a cedar chest or a long piano bench to save the wood from
scratching. If it is a rug, I am sure it could be stretched back, whatever
it is it is lovely. Hand done, beautiful colors and pattern, a pretty
piece of art work, measures 25 inches by 45 inches. |

U.S. $17.99 - This does have some age
to it, don't know exactly how old. It could also be commercial as it is
all machine stitched around raggedy Ann and Andy figures which is where
the quilt part comes in. There is a thin batting and it is all cotton. The
front part is cotton but has a different feel to it than the smooth
cotton, almost sack like but I don't think it is feedsack. In great
condition measuring 30 inches by 25 inches, a small blanket for the crib
or cot or would look darling in a collection. There are some very small
faded spots just to the blue in the print but not noticable. |

linen tablecloth with 6 napkins. Great colors, looks and feels crisp still
as though it was used once and put away. There are some large stains which
I haven't tried to remove, could possibly come out with a few tricks.
Great blue heart border with drinks around and cherries, strawberries and
Italian flags. I believe it has some age to it, bought from an estate,
unsure of exact vintage. |

unused condition tablecloth. Large checks of pastel pink, blue, green,
yellow, tangerine and white with a flower motif in the middle. Would look
great this summer out on a little table or on top of a larger table on top
of a table cloth used as a topper. Measures 35 x 29.5 inches with
absolutely no rips or stains. |

lines to this vintage plastic cake saver or carrier with twist on top. No
chips or cracks, minimal gold paint loss to design, a nice addition to a

Lovely vintage yellow very thick glass plate which measures 11
1/2 inches across, the outside edges curve up from the middle and down to
the edge a little bit. No chips or cracks, no marking that I can find.
From an estate, age is vintage to old. |

U.S. $140.00 - Right off the wall of a
1930's mansion. Lovely thick crystal/glass art deco style double
wall light sconce complete with all hardware. Will require cardboard
covers for 'candle stick' lights which can be purchased at almost any
antique store. Retains original cloth wiring, will need to be
rewired for safety. Has a gorgeous cut crystal back reflector or
front cap with silver underneath the glass, two twisted glass arms which
lead to the 2 glass cups which hold the 2 light sockets and each cup has 6
long crystals. This is guaranteed to be old, a beautiful heavy light
shade which will add distinction to any room of the house this is used
in. Measures about 12 inches across by 9 high without the
bulbs. |

U.S. $14.00 - This great handbag
features a lovely pattern of large and small white beads (looks as though
they are attached somehow and not sewn on) with a great thick tubular
handle to match. The top on both sides of the purse features a great
swirly plastic, possibly lucite top piece in an ivory color as well. Both
inside and outside are in good shape, tag inside simply stating made in
Hong Kong. Lined in an ivory material with small pocket. measures about 8
x 7 inches not including the handle. |

U.S. $18.00 - Lovely old even antique?
glass and metal tray with a reverse painted scene of red birds with
flowers. Looks Victorian or art nouveau. It is coming loose on one side
because two of the feet which also hold the corners together are missing.
Nothing major, won't fall apart. The paint is starting to flake off in
areas which is evident in the photos. The style is almost crude compared
to other trays I have seen with this exact frame, but I think this just
adds to the appeal. Would work in almost any environment, doesn't have the
stuffy appearance of most Victorian things, could even be country or
shabby chic. The birds are red with some cobalt blue and a bit of orange,
those colors repeat in the flower border. Great addition to a collection
or to actually use out on the deck with some lovely old red or cobalt
glasses. Measures about 21 x 13 inches. |

U.S. $11.00 - I have a large doll
marked 27, I assume that means she is 27 inches tall, A-E with a diamond
and arrow in it. I have seen these classed as Reading dolls, but am
unsure. She also has what looks like an L on her tush. She has an all in
one (no joints) body made from soft vinyl or rubber???Good condition will
just need to have a bath. Her hair looks good, is actually more of a dark
strawberry blond, the picture shows it darker. Lovely green pinwheel sleep
eyes with all lashes. She does have green around her pierced ears. Comes
dressed in this great vintage outfit which looks like it may have belonged
to one of her friends because it is a bit tight and short on her. Please
feel free to ask questions as I know nothing about dolls. |

plastic head, cloth body raggedy ann marked Hong Kong, in good shape, some
red missing from nose, body needs a cleaning. 8 inches long. 2. small soft
plastic kewpie doll, 4 1/2 tall. 3. Kewpie type soft plastic girl doll. 8
1/2 inches tall, molded and painted lace socks, red shoes, with a bit of
damage to the front of one. Cute sheer dress, long hair but looks like she
is missing a hat as her hair doesn't cover all of her head. Possibly a
carnival prize. 4. Another kewpie type doll, molded hair, socks and shoes.
Net hat, silky blouse and green skirt. Soft plastic could also have been a
carnival prize. |

U.S. $85.00 - First I would like to
say sorry for the very bad pictures, they just don't do this brooch and
earring set justice. I can't seem to get a good close up but will say that
they are absolutely gorgeous in person. The pin and earings are signed
Sherman and the first picture shows more or less of the bright pink color
that they are but in person are more vibrant and there are no cloudy
stones as the picture seems to display. The earrings are 1 inch long by
3/4 inches wide and have a flower pattern in them which the second picture
shows better, though the colors are not true in the second photo. The
brooch measures 2 1/5 by 1 3/4 inches set in a silver colored metal. No
missing stones, colors are bright and true. A fabulous addition to your
collection or a wonderful gift. |

U.S. $29.00 - Vintage bedspread in the
most lovely color of a bright sky blue with gold. I am unsure of the
material whether it is synthetic or a silk. It feels silky to me and I
burnt a piece of the thread and it burnt right down. Measures 81 by 61
inches with a small gold trim on three sides. No problems with this that I
can see, the first picture shows the spread folded over so the top is
actually the top of the spread and the bottom portion of the picture is
the inside or bottom of the bedspread. I am also unsure what this pattern
is called, a brocade or jacquard but the pictures shows it well. This
would look simply divine on a single bed or thrown over a chair or couch
in a Victorian, shabby chic or Parisian setting. |
